John is a mechanical engineer with over thirty years experience with gas turbines and
the associated driven equipment. He is a specialist in all areas relating to performance
of gas turbine equipment.
Experience:
- project engineering in pulp mill power plants with H.A. Simons, Vancouver, British
Columbia;
- development engineering with Rolls-Royce, Hamilton, Scotland;
- compressor station design, startup, performance testing and operations supervision with
TransCanada PipeLines, Calgary, Alberta;
- consulting services to gas turbine operators.
Areas of Expertise:
- performance testing and trouble shooting of gas turbines and centrifugal compressors;
- acceptance testing of new equpment;
- acting as an independent mediator in the resolution of disputes between vendors and
